Corporate Social Responsibility
RED Transport and Logistics has a long history of supporting local charities and is pleased to launch it`s new Corporate Social Responsibility programme. RED will have one chosen Charity of the Year along with staff being able to support a charity of their choice.
Each member of staff will be able to donate £100 to a charity of their choice and if they volunteer that figure is doubled to £200 for the charity. RED staff members are given the day off by RED to support the charity of their choice.
If you are a local charity you can apply to be considered by staff by filling in the below form stating the name of the charity and how the money will help your charity. Members of staff can choose a charity together, so if you have a need for volunteering then mention that aswell.
“We are encouraging local charities to get in touch and be considered by our staff. RED has locations across the Midlands, South West and South Wales and we want to help as many charities as we can.” Said RED Managing Director Stefan Roberts. “RED were finalists in the prestigious Local Charity Business Awards recently for our work with a local charity and we have decided to put a robust and fair CSR programme”. Continued Stefan.
Local charity Goals Beyond Grass was supported in 2018 “RED helped us to take our event to a different level and give us much needed funds for a new powerchair. Red were so positive and supportive of us as a charity and we are so grateful for their support”. said Brian DIX CEO Goals Beyond Grass.
